I am very happy to pursue my PhD in this programme. Since the start of my journey, I feel like I have always been making progress. Here, not only do I receive lots of support from my own supervisors, but I also learn from easygoing professors with their well-prepared lectures. In addition, our resource center is one of my favorite places on campus, as it is full of useful learning materials. All in all, I am lucky to be a part of this caring, energetic and diverse community. I know it is preparing me with all the tools and skills necessary for my future career.

Being part of this program broadens my perspective on applied linguistics. Professors are highly experienced and knowledgeable. PhD colleagues are supportive and willing to help when needed. Whether you come here with specific topic in mind or just a broad idea of interest, you will eventually find the right path to do your research. If your goal is not only to obtain a degree but also to learn how to conduct quality research on applied linguistics, you will never regret joining this program.

One of my favorite aspects of the PhD program at KMUTT is the diversity seen in the students and instructors. At least 10 different countries on four continents are represented in our department. The research conducted in the PhD program at KMUTT is also very diverse, from educational research on the language classroom to text and discourse analysis. I have learned a lot from my classmates who are working on research that is completely different from my own.
